Katie Tomasi Edwards - Co Owner / Stylist
From a young age, Katie was surrounded by her family’s involvement in the real estate and media industries, which laid the foundation for her own career in media and property styling.
At age 17 Katie started a part time administration job at Barfoot & Thompson Ponsonby outside of her school hours.
Along with her passion for the industry, she had a strong pull towards the world of journalism. Upon completion of her Communication Degree at Auckland University of Technology majoring in Journalism, Katie went on to freelance for a few major media organisations (Stuff.co.nz, Newshub & NZ House and Garden) before joining her mother and father (Mary Jane & Trevor) in creating MJT Property Styling.
Now, Katie spends majority of her time working in the family business, while also contributing to media organisations. Katie features on Weekend Life’s Carly Flynn’s show on RadioLIVE every Saturday at 12.30pm to talk all things design.
